YOUR PARTNERSHIP IN THE GOSPEL
We believe that financial giving is part of our corporate partnership in the gospel. It should be sacrificial, joyful, and an act of worship (see 2 Corinthians 8-9).
FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS CAN OCCUR IN A FEW DIFFERENT WAYS:
- An offering box is located at the front of the sanctuary. You can place an offering the box before or after a Sunday service.
- You can mail your offering to the church office.
- You can give online, either with a one-time or recurring gift. You will need to create a profile in our secure network.
- You can give through our giving app (search for “Shelby Next - Giving” across most platforms and devices). When first opening the app, search for “Christ Church” or search by location and click Christ Church on your device.
DESIGNATING CHRIST CHURCH ON YOUR UNITED WAY PLEDGE FORM
Did you know you can support Christ Church through your contributions to the United Way? Just designate "Christ Church ABQ" on your United Way pledge form at your work and they will send 100% of your gift to the church.
There are at least two advantages to this. First, if you wish a deduction made from your credit card, United Way pays the credit card transaction fee. If, on the other hand, you use Christ Church’s online giving and use your credit card, we have to pay a fee and that means Christ Church does not get a full 100% of your giving. In other words, we prefer that you use Christ Church online giving for accounts like a debit or checking account.
Second, some employers match what you give. That is, your employer will not add to your giving to Christ Church, but will contribute to United Way's support of various needs in the community (like food assistance or shelter for children or families). For instance, Intel, Walmart, and Wells Fargo are examples of employers in the area that match your payroll deduction.
